Matt is a manager at Boundary Stone Partners, serving clients in the firm’s transportation practice group.

Before joining Boundary Stone in 2023, Matt worked in government affairs for the American Association of Port Authorities (AAPA), a trade association representing America’s seaports. At AAPA Matt led policy efforts on freight and port infrastructure, working to influence lawmakers on permitting reform and ocean shipping regulations as the industry recovered from supply chain challenges.

Matt also worked as a policy analyst at the Recreational Vehicle Industry Association (RVIA), leading the association’s government affairs work on electric vehicle policy and advising on legislation in the outdoor recreation space. Matt also worked at the International Franchise Association (IFA) and was appointed by the Administrator of the U.S. Small Business Administration to a term on the SBA’s Advisory Committee on Veteran Business Affairs.

Matt earned a B.A. in political science from The George Washington University in Washington, D.C.
